POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for collaborative, innovative and passionate digital strategists to join our partner campaigns and help implement cutting-edge communications tactics required to run winning programs in the new online media landscape, with a focus on organic social media.

Campaign DigiDems are assigned to individual Congressional campaigns for the duration of the 2026 election cycle, where you will serve as a fully embedded and integrated member of their campaign team. You will be prepared to assist in all aspects of the campaign as needed, but your primary focus will be to provide support on tasks related to the management and execution of the campaign’s social media and digital communications programming.

Professional campaign experience is not required; we provide on-the-job training on industry-specific tools. What’s most important is you’re committed to the mission, a fast learner, and adept at connecting with people. Our culture celebrates diversity of thought and background. If you’re eager to apply your talents in a high-impact political environment, we encourage you to apply.

As a DigiDem you must be passionate about Democratic politics and willing to roll up your sleeves, embrace adventure, work extended hours, and temporarily relocate to support your Congressional campaign. You will learn and contribute to fundamental aspects of the campaign on a daily basis. This is an opportunity to develop career-making skills, gain contacts in politics and technology, and have a positive impact on the world.

The strongest candidates will be enthusiastic about executing cutting-edge social media and digital communications strategy in service of helping key races that will determine control of Congress.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will lead and execute the campaign’s digital presence by managing social media, content creation, graphic design, website, and more. Depending on the individual campaign’s needs, this could include both technical and non-technical tasks like:

  • Planning, executing, and assessing organic social media campaigns to amplify campaign messaging online
  • Developing graphic and video content
  • Supporting digital organizing programming, such as relational and P2P
  • Coordinating creator content and influencer programs
  • Creating and maintaining campaign website
  • Other non-technical duties as assigned; including (but not limited to) door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and volunteer training.

You will have a direct manager on your assigned campaign, and also will report to a dedicated Pod Director on the DigiDems team, who is there to help you develop your skills as a mentor and coach through your DigiDems experience. All of our 2026 Pod Directors are seasoned Digital Communications experts with multiple years of campaign experience.
